AFMC Application Primary Selection Method
Candidates are selected for written examination on the basis of SSC and HSC results and other criteria that you see in the previous circular. Basing on merit & quota total of 4000 (approx) candidates will be allowed to sit for the written examination. After the written exam, candidates will be select according to their merit list.
AFMC Final Selection Method
After primary selection, Only a limited number of students can attend the admission test exam. AFMC authority selects the eligible students according to their admission test results. Consequently, The final selection method is given below.
- The candidates will appear at a written examination (MCQ) of 100 marks (Syllabus HSC/ equivalent). For each correct response, candidates will get „1‟ & for each wrong response, 0.25 marks shall be deducted. The distribution of marks is as under
- For SSC or its equivalent examination, 15 times of GPA score, and for HSC or its equivalent examination, 25 times of GPA score will be added to make the final merit list.
- For the previous year, HSC passed examinee deduction of 5 marks and admitted in Government Medical Colleges or Dental Colleges/Units examinee deduction of 7.5 marks from total obtained marks to make final merit list.
- Qualified candidates in the written exam for respective Army Medical Colleges will appear at a medical examination.
- Medically fit candidates of Army Medical College will appear before the viva voce examination.
