Chittagon University is one of the best public universities in Bangladesh. It was established in 1966. Every year up to two lakh students attend the exam against 4926 seats. They apply and participate in different units.
Chittagong University Online Application Notice-2022
Students can apply online for the Chittagong University admission test from 12-April-21. The last date of application is 30-04-21. You must have to apply within this short time. CU Admission Test Exam Date-2022
After completing the online application on 30-04-21. CU will take the admission test. The admission test will start on 22-June-2021. It will continue till 08-July-2021. All units exam will be held within this date. The authority will publish the exam date of the B1 & D1 units soon. As all of the educational institutions remained closed due to the Corona Virus situation. The admission test exam date may be changed due to the covid -19 pandemic.
Chittagong University Application Requirement 2021-2022
Chittagong University (CU) divided its admission exam system into 3 units 2 subunits according to the student’s group at SSC and HSC level. Different units have different requirements. CU A Unit Application Requirement -2022
Interested applicants who have passed from SSC/equivalent exam in the science group within 2017-2018 can apply for unit A . HSC/equivalent passing year must be in 2020. Science faculty subjects are available for unit-A.
- Students have to gain a minimum of 4.00 in each exam and the total minimum of both exams is 8.00
CU B Unit Application Requirement -2022
Applicants who have passed from SSC/equivalent exam from all ( Science, Arts, Commerce) groups within 2017-2018 can apply for unit B. HSC/equivalent passing year must be in 2020. Arts faculty subjects are available for unit B.
- The minimum required GPA for Arts group students is 3.00 in each exam and total minimum GPA-7.50.
- Science group student’s minimum required GPA is 3.50 in each exam and total minimum GPA-8.00.
- Interested students in the commerce group have to gain GPA-3.50 in each exam and a total minimum GPA-8.00.
- The above same requirement is applicable for unit-B1
CU Unit-C Application Requirement -2022
Students who have passed from SSC/equivalent exam from business studies groups within 2017-2018 can apply for the unit C. HSC/equivalent passing year must be in 2020. Commerce faculty subjects are available for unit B.
- Business studies group student’s minimum required GPA is 3.50 in each exam and total minimum GPA-8.00.
CU Unit-D Application Requirement -2022
Interested students who have passed from SSC/equivalent exam from all ( Science, Arts, Commerce) groups within 2017-2018 can apply for unit D. HSC/equivalent passing year must be in 2020. Sociology faculty subjects are available for unit D.
- Here minimum GPA-3.50 in each subject & total minimum GPA-7.50 is required for all group students.
- D1 unit requirement is the same as a unit-D requirement.
Chittagong University Admission Test Syllabus 2021-2022

Chittagong University A-Unit (Science) Syllabus 2022
Admission test exam authorities have selected 100 marks MCQ question from Bangla, English & Group subjects. The pass mark is 40. SSC & HSC GPA percentage marks will add with MCQ marks. Here, Bangla-10, English-15, and Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Biology-75 marks. Candidates have to select 3 subjects from group subjects for their interested faculty.
B-Unit (Humanities) Syllabus 2022
CU authorities have selected 100 marks MCQ question from Bangla, English & General knowledge. The pass mark is 40. Here, Bangla-35, English-35, and general knowledge-30 mark. B1 unit & D1 unit syllabus is the same as B unit. SSC & HSC GPA percentage marks will add with MCQ marks.
Chittagong University C-Unit (Business Studies) Syllabus 2022
Unit-c is for business studies group students. Hence, the Exam committee added a commerce-related subject. English-30, Accounting-35, Business organization & Management/ Banking & Marketing-35. In total 100 marks exams. SSC & HSC GPA percentage marks will add with MCQ marks.
Chittagong University D-Unit Syllabus 2022
Sociology faculty subjects are included in unit D. in this unit, The mark distributed marks for Bangla-30, English-30, Analytical ability-20, General knowledge/ Mathematics/ Economics-20. SSC & HSC GPA percentage marks will add with MCQ marks.
